Paradise Cave – Phong Nha Cave

07:30 – 08:00 AM: Begin your day with a hotel pick-up in Dong Hoi city. Our comfortable van and friendly guide will take you on a scenic 80-minute drive (about 75 km) to Paradise Cave, located deep in the national park’s core zone. Along the way, enjoy beautiful views of limestone mountains, rice fields, and local villages – a perfect introduction to the region’s natural charm.

OR 08:30 – 09:00 AM: If you’re staying in Phong Nha village, we’ll pick you up directly from your hotel and head to Paradise Cave. This option offers a later start for guests already staying near the park.

09:30 – 11:30 AM: Arrive at the breathtaking Paradise Cave.

• Take a 1.6 km golf cart ride from the entrance gate through dense jungle, surrounded by fresh air and tropical greenery.

• Then, begin a short climb of about 500 meters. Though it’s uphill, the reward is worth it – from the top, you’ll enjoy sweeping views of the surrounding limestone mountains and forests.

• Enter the cave and prepare to be amazed. Paradise Cave stretches more than 31 kilometers in total, though tourists are allowed to explore the first kilometer, which is enough to experience its grandeur.

• Follow the wooden walkway into the cave, where cool air, silence, and surreal rock formations welcome you. The vast chambers are filled with stalactites and stalagmites resembling lotus flowers, pillars, waterfalls, and mythical shapes.

• Known as Asia’s longest dry cave, Paradise Cave lives up to its name – peaceful, mystical, and truly heavenly.

This part of the tour highlights the park’s geological richness and makes for a fantastic photography opportunity.

12:30 PM: After your cave exploration, enjoy a traditional Vietnamese lunch at a local restaurant in Phong Nha village.

• Dishes are prepared fresh using regional ingredients, offering both delicious taste and local authenticity.

• Vegetarian options are available – please inform us in advance of any dietary needs, and we’ll do our best to accommodate you.

• This is a perfect time to relax and re-energize before your second cave visit.

13:30 – 15:30 PM: Depart for the second highlight of the day – the world-famous Phong Nha Cave, also known as “The First Wonder of the Caves.”

• You’ll board a traditional wooden dragon boat for a scenic 25-minute ride along the Son River. Lush green banks and karst cliffs line the waterway, making this part of the journey peaceful and picturesque.

• As you enter the cave by boat, cool air from within the mountain flows over you – a welcome natural breeze on hot days.

• Phong Nha Cave is a water cave, stretching over 7,700 meters, with an underground river running through it.

• Inside the cave, your boat will glide past spectacular rock formations. Then, you’ll disembark and walk 300 meters further inside on foot, taking time to marvel at formations named the “Lion,” the “Fairy Caves,” the “Royal Court,” and the “Buddha.”

• Your guide will share the legends, geology, and stories behind these names, adding cultural and historical depth to the visit.

This section of the tour is perfect for those who love photography, nature, and peaceful exploration. The mix of boat travel and on-foot discovery makes it engaging and accessible for travelers of all ages.

16:00 PM: The tour ends in Phong Nha village. If your accommodation is nearby, we’ll drop you off directly at your hotel, allowing you to rest or continue exploring the area at your own pace.

17:00 – 17:30 PM: For guests returning to Dong Hoi city, our van will drive you back comfortably. Expect to arrive at your hotel between 5:00 – 5:30 PM, marking the end of a full day filled with natural wonders and unforgettable moments.

• Please wear comfortable walking shoes for the climb and cave paths.

• Bring light clothing, a hat, sunscreen, and a camera to capture the views.

• This tour is suitable for all ages and fitness levels, with support from our professional team throughout the day.

– Full refund if cancellation is received 2 days before departure.
– No refund if cancellation is received 14 hours before departure
– Possibility of amending tours 2 days before departure if available or change the departure date without extra costs.
– Cancellation is only confirmed by email or WhatsApp.
