Paradise Cave – Dark Cave

07:30 – 08:00 AM: Our professional driver and tour guide will pick you up at your hotel in Dong Hoi city and transfer you to Paradise Cave. Along the way, enjoy a scenic ride through peaceful countryside and mountain landscapes. The drive is approximately 75 km and takes around 1 hour 20 minutes, offering a relaxing start to a day of exploration.

OR 08:30 – 09:00 AM: If you’re staying in Phong Nha village, we’ll pick you up from your hotel and head straight to Paradise Cave, which is located in the core zone of Phong Nha – Ke Bang National Park.

09:30 – 11:30 AM: Arrive at Paradise Cave, one of the most beautiful and awe-inspiring cave systems in the world.

• Start your visit with a 1.6 km electric golf cart ride through the lush jungle. This short but scenic ride allows you to take in the peaceful surroundings and natural beauty of the national park.

• After that, a short climb up the stone stairs brings you to the mouth of the cave. From the top, you’ll be rewarded with panoramic views of the surrounding limestone mountains and forests.

• Step into the cave and discover an underground world like no other. Paradise Cave is famous for its immense chambers, cool temperatures, and jaw-dropping rock formations.

• Walk along the wooden boardwalk deep into the cave, where you’ll see stalactites and stalagmites shaped like lotus flowers, bells, and majestic columns that seem to rise to the heavens.

• As the longest dry cave in Asia (over 31 km in total, with the first kilometer open to tourists), this cave is a highlight of any Phong Nha travel experience.

12:00 – 13:00 PM: After exploring Paradise Cave, you’ll head to a nearby restaurant near Dark Cave, where a delicious Vietnamese lunch awaits.

• The meal features authentic, home-style dishes made with fresh local ingredients.

• A vegetarian option is available  –  just let us know your dietary needs in advance, and we’ll happily accommodate.

• This is a perfect time to relax, share stories with fellow travelers, and take in the peaceful scenery of the national park.

13:00 – 15:30 PM: Next stop – Dark Cave, or Hang Tối, the adventure capital of the park!
Here, your afternoon will be filled with fun and action in one of the most unique cave experiences in Vietnam:

• Begin with a thrilling zip-line ride over the Chay River, flying high above the turquoise water – it’s a favorite for both adults and kids!

• Upon landing, jump straight into the river and swim to the entrance of the cave – a refreshing start to your underground adventure.

• Inside the cave, equipped with helmet and headlamp, you’ll trek through narrow tunnels, splash through pools, and experience complete darkness surrounded by nature.

• A highlight of this visit is the mud bath, where you’ll float effortlessly in thick, mineral-rich mud. Not only fun, it’s also said to be great for your skin!

• After exiting the cave, rinse off and continue the fun with kayaking along the Chay River, where calm waters and limestone scenery create the perfect backdrop.

• For those with energy left, the adventure obstacle course is waiting – with rope bridges, mini zip lines, and more challenges to conquer.

Dark Cave offers a truly interactive experience that combines natural beauty with physical activity, making it a must for adventure lovers visiting Phong Nha.

16:00 – 17:00 PM: After your adventure, we’ll take you back to Dong Hoi or Phong Nha village. Enjoy the ride back as you reflect on a day filled with wonder, laughter, and unforgettable memories. You’ll be dropped off at your hotel, ending the tour on a high note.

Important Information

• Please bring swimwear and a towel for the water-based activities.

• Lockers are available at Dark Cave with a 50,000 VND refundable deposit for the key.

• Zip-line restrictions: Only available to participants weighing between 40 – 90 kg. This is a safety requirement and strictly enforced.

Cancellation policy:

– Please make full payment before at least 03 days to confirm the booking
– Full refund if cancellation is received 2 days before departure.
– No refund if cancellation is received 14 hours before departure
– Possibility of amending tours 2 days before departure if available or change the departure date without extra costs.
– Cancellation is only confirmed by email or WhatsApp.

Policies for all tours:

– Phongnha Discovery will not give any refund if the customers want to return during the tours.
– For safety, our tour guide has the right to change the itinerary.
– If the tour has to be cancelled due to bad weather, we will inform customers as soon as possible with alternative options:
+ We can offer another tour which is not affected by weather conditions (please note that the alternative tour cost can be lower or higher)
+ We can change the departure date without extra fee
