Paradise Cave 7km Adventure

06:50 AM: Your day begins with a pick-up from your hotel in Dong Hoi City. A comfortable van ride takes you on an 80-minute drive (about 75 km) through the lush, mountainous landscape of Quang Binh Province, heading straight into the heart of Phong Nha – Ke Bang National Park.

OR 07:30 AM: If you’re already staying in Phong Nha Village, we’ll collect you from your hotel and head directly to Paradise Cave. Upon arrival, your guide will introduce the day’s itinerary, safety instructions, and hand out the necessary caving equipment.

Start your adventure with a golf cart ride (1.6 km) from the main gate through the jungle. The ride brings you to the base of the mountain, where you’ll begin a moderate climb to the cave entrance. Along the way, you’ll enjoy incredible views of the surrounding karst mountains and dense jungle terrain.

Enter the first part of Paradise Cave, which is open to regular tourists. You’ll follow a wooden staircase and boardwalk through the first 1,000 meters, taking in the incredible beauty of the vast chambers.

• The formations here are colorful and massive, with towering columns, intricate draperies, and naturally sculpted shapes formed over millions of years.

• The light gently illuminates the path, revealing the quiet grandeur of one of Vietnam’s greatest natural treasures.

Now the real adventure begins. After passing the boardwalk, you’ll follow your experienced guide deeper into the hidden parts of Paradise Cave – places only accessible on the 7KM Adventure Tour.

• Equipped with a personal flashlight, you’ll explore 6 additional kilometers of untouched underground beauty.

• Walk along narrow paths and rocky terrain. The first 500 meters open into a tube-shaped chamber, reaching over 80 meters in height and 120 meters in width.

• Here, the stalactites shimmer like crystals, and the silence of the cave is broken only by the sound of dripping water. The further you go, the more surreal and breathtaking the formations become.

Throughout the cave, nature has created rock structures that resemble sculptures, temples, and even animals. Some glow with mineral-rich colors – copper, silver, and gold tones reflecting your headlamp’s light.

Halfway through the adventure, at the 4-kilometer mark, you’ll reach a rest stop – a hidden spot by the underground stream.

• Here, you can relax, take in the atmosphere, and capture photos of this otherworldly landscape.

• Enjoy a short break before continuing to the more challenging section of the cave.

The next phase of your journey takes you even further from the ordinary.

• You’ll kayak along a shallow underground stream, maneuvering through tight spaces where you may need to crouch low to pass beneath the ceiling.

• You’ll also walk through stream beds and climb over slick, rugged rocks, guided every step of the way.

• In this labyrinth-like part of the cave, the silence is complete – no lights, no sounds from the outside world, just you, the cave, and your guide.

At around 6 kilometers, you’ll reach “the Heaven Well”, a unique natural formation symbolizing harmony between heaven and earth.

• The rocks here are smooth, sculpted by water and time, with pastel hues and graceful lines.

• According to local culture, this is one of the most spiritually significant points inside Paradise Cave – a moment of reflection, awe, and wonder.

After a picnic-style lunch by the stream, take time to rest, take photos, and absorb the stillness of the cave before beginning your return journey along the same route.

15:00 PM: The adventure concludes. You’ll exit the cave, return to the base via golf cart, and be driven back to your hotel.

16:00 PM: Drop-off in Phong Nha Village.

17:00 PM: Drop-off in Dong Hoi City, ending your Paradise Cave 7KM Adventure with memories you’ll never forget.

What to Bring

• Good hiking shoes or sandals with grip

Cancellation policy:

– Please make full payment before at least 03 days to confirm the booking
– Full refund if cancellation is received 2 days before departure.
– No refund if cancellation is received 14 hours before departure
– Possibility of amending tours 2 days before departure if available or change the departure date without extra costs.
– Cancellation is only confirmed by email or WhatsApp.

Policies for all tours:

– Phongnha Discovery will not give any refund if the customers want to return during the tours.
– For safety, our tour guide has the right to change the itinerary.
– If the tour has to be cancelled due to bad weather, we will inform customers as soon as possible with alternative options:
